The spectacular story of the AMG brand began in 1967. Hans-Werner *A*ufrecht and Erhard *M*elcher founded a workshop in *G*roßaspach, Swabia, which developed over the next four decades to become a world-renowned synonym for high-performance driving machines bearing the three-pointed star.
This is the first book to compile all the vehicles produced by AMG to-date, starting with the tuned Mercedes saloons of the 1960s all the way to the independently developed Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
