Background

This impressive book of photography presents 120 vehicles from the Volkswagen AutoMuseum collection – brand highlights from all model years that can be found nowhere else at the same time in a single exhibition.

Schatzkammer offers an impressive look into the Volkswagen Museum at all the air-cooled (all Beetle models) and water-cooled (small cars, Golf class, fun cars, Passat class/Phaeton) models. Starting with the KdF Beetle from 1943 – Prof. Ferdinand Porsche’s company car – through production after the Second World War to modern mobility visions. Prototypes, design studies, one-offs from the 1950s to the 2000s.
